2024 YASS VALLEY COUNCIL ELECTIONS
The 2024 NSW Local Government Elections are on Saturday 14th September.
Yass Valley Council was established on 11 February 2004, it holds 12,987 electors and occupies an area of 3,996 square kilometres.
MEET THE CANDIDATES
Yass Valley will choose and elect nine Councillors from twelve candidates. Six current Councillors seek re-election, and six new candidates are running. In order to provide voters with easy access to information, all candidates were offered the opportunity to submit their campaign information to our centralised platform.
To start, we have the Candidate Profiles and will soon be sharing our feature articles titled 5 Questions with a Candidate.
Note: Candidates are currently listed in ballot paper order. We plan to filter the order differently each day – A-Z, random, ballot paper order, both ascending and descending.

We spoke with the candidates to understand their plans, experiences, what they love about Yass Valley and why they chose to run for council. Through a series of 5 questions, we gained valuable insights into their expertise and perspectives and why they should be elected to represent the Yass Valley.
